The Autonomous Chemistry Lab

We at AutoSyn believe that chemical development must be propelled into the 21st century by creating an easy to use, fully automated chemical development system that saves resources.

The Autonomous Chemistry Lab is the future in chemical development!

How we can help you

The Autonomous Chemistry Lab developed at Chalmers and commercialized by AutoSyn AB is creating a transformative new way of doing chemistry where reaction sequences for chemical compounds are developed faster and with less resource waste than possible today.

Service Offering

Contract Research

We develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes for you!

AutoSyn´s combination of flow chemistry, integrated analytics and automation leads to better yields, higher throughputs, and the possibility to find greener alternatives for solvents and starting materials more easily. Also, chemical reactions that might prove difficult in traditional batch synthesis and might not have a viable route today, can be investigated due to the inherently greater parameter space in flow chemistry.

Consulting

We offer expertise surrounding lab automation!

With great expertise in automation, flow chemistry and general lab setup we provide services and knowledge that is hard to find at any other single provider.

Our Ambition

Propel Chemical Development Into The 21st Century

What today looks like

Today´s chemical development is characterized by traditional, repetitive, and very labour-intensive workflows that have not developed much in many decades. This is a time consuming and, in most cases, manual process that lacks automation as well as integration of analytical tools. As a result, chemical development uses unnecessarily large amounts of resources (time, chemicals, money etc.).

The overall speed of development depends on the number of reaction/analysis cycles that can be accomplished in a certain time. Chemists usually must start over numerous times before a satisfactory outcome is reached.

What tomorrow can be with us

The Autonomous Chemistry Lab developed at Chalmers and commercialized by AutoSyn AB is creating a transformative new way of doing chemistry where reaction sequences for chemical compounds are developed faster and with less resource waste than possible today.

This is achieved by combining flow chemistry methods with analytical tools and supporting AI algorithms, leading to reduced amounts of materials and time required for each process cycle.
